walk-to-talk is a platform that connects people — whether for friendship, networking, or simply sharing a good conversation.. What started as a personal mission to raise awareness for dementia care has grown into a global community connecting thousands of people through shared walks and meaningful conversations.
We are a team with diverse backgrounds, united by a shared belief in the power of walking and talking to bring people together. Inspired by the connections made through shared walks, we’re dedicated to helping others build relationships, stay active, and support meaningful causes. At walk-to-talk, we’re here to make every step count.

We believe the best conversations happen when you’re out in the fresh air. Walk-to-talk helps people connect in a simple, relaxed way, whether they’re meeting new friends, catching up with old ones or having a business meeting. We're growing a global community to foster meaningful relationships, improve mental and physical health, and to make a difference by contributing to charitable causes.
Tom Platts, the founder of walk-to-talk, was inspired by his mission to raise awareness for dementia care through the MacRitchie Challenge. In 2023, he walked over 5,000 km, proving the power of connection through simple acts. His vision has grown into a global community, with his story featured in international media, inspiring thousands to walk, talk, and make a difference.
